About Vendome Paris

Vendome Paris was founded in 2020 in Accra, Ghana by Srikanth Yeddula, with a mission to build an atelier capable of producing high-end clothing while addressing the growing challenge of textile waste. The company began during the lockdown with a focus on developing recycled yarns and practical solutions for textile and garment waste management. During this phase, Vendome Paris worked closely with Renewcell and GIZ under the Recoton project to explore scalable waste-to-fiber innovations in West Africa.

The company later expanded operations into Nigeria for broader on-ground activities and into the United States for logistical and financial management.

In India, Vendome Paris partnered with the local government in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh—supported by the District Collector, The Department of Textiles and Handlooms, and NITI Aayog—to revive the long-abandoned Madhavaram Handloom Cluster. After 15 years of inactivity, the dye house, warping unit, and weaving infrastructure were restored and transformed into Atelier Vendome Paris, now a center for research and development in handlooms and apparel. This atelier also supports the creation and production for Shrekahnth, the luxury fashion brand under Vendome Paris.
